About us

Research in the Weis Lab is focused on the multi-disciplinary study of gastrointestinal disease at the intersection of mucosal biology, pediatric intestinal diseases, and innovative translational therapeutics. I have formal training and education in gastrointestinal homeostasis, disease progression, and novel animal model development/characterization. I am committed to integrating my expertise in pediatric gastrointestinal biology with translational sciences to address unmet clinical needs in neonatal and pediatric patients.
